We're shaped and crafted by the sights, sounds and flavors of Upstate New York.
Upstate Eater is run by a trio of Upstate NY natives: New York Associated Press award-winning writer Jacob Pucci; Zagat 30-Under-30 New York City and Eater Young Guns winner Dan Pucci and Megan Therrien, whose decorated cakes prove she's the most talented of the bunch.
We’re inspired by the currant, raspberry and blackberry bushes we picked from while playing in the backyard as children, the huckleberries that grew along Honest Brook on the walk to the salamander pond, the rare wild strawberry—a sweet surprise enjoyed only a few times each summer.
Eating and drinking everything from Stewart’s Deli Dogs to Hudson Valley Foie Gras, Genny Cream to a fine Finger Lakes cider, proves that there is no singular taste to Upstate New York, but rather a wide world of experiences we hope to capture.
